Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver Checklist

Procedures for submitting the Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver at NCSU:

  1. Apply for admission.
  2. Confirm in-state residency status for tuition purposes. See Residency Status When Using Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver.
  3. Register for desired class/classes.
  4. Submit an on-line of tuition waiver in the MyPack Portal via Employee Self Service, Benefit Details, Employee Waiver Form by the billing date (only if attending NCSU). Employees taking classes at other institutions need to follow due dates and deadlines for the institution where they take classes.
  5. Ensure your supervisor has electronically signed your waiver by the official census date.
  6. Review your student account to ensure charges have been credited.

Employees wishing to use their tuition waiver at another university MUST adhere to the policies of that university.
